I really didn’t think much about what an electric can do until I saw my old man use it in our front porch. I thought that a regular and electric cigarette really didn’t have much difference. But, I was quite surprised on what I found out about the huge differences these two cigarettes possessed. From what I’ve read, e-cigarettes turn out to be a healthier solution to a bad smoking habit.
There are still a big number of the population of people that doesn’t believe in electric cigarettes just yet. Maybe it’s because our mental way of thinking has been stuck to the concept that cigarettes are just cigarettes no matter how it differ from the way people use it. But, are we really getting the big picture here or not?
One can just wonder how an electric cigarette works. I’m actually also one of the many who went deaf and blind on what an e-cigarette can do and how big the difference it has compared to a regular stick. It was good to know that an electric cigarette isn’t capable of producing smoke that a second hand smoker can possibly inhale. On top of that, it won’t work if one component is missing.
Electric cigarettes come in several variations but its three components will always be there. First important element of this battery-operated cigarette is the mouthpiece, which is also called the cartridge. It looks like a small plastic cup that is attached at the end of the tube. It contains the nicotine solution that when heated, turns to a nicotine vapor that the user inhales. This solution can be flavored or unflavored.
The second important part of e-cigarette is called the atomizer. This part is essential because it is the one that heats the solution present in the cartridge.
The last two components of electric cigarettes are the battery that also contains all the circuitry for the device to work and the LED. Basically what the LED does is to indicate whether or not the device is working properly. In turn, the battery should only be a lithium ion rechargeable battery for the device to work properly. You can choose the type of device that you want, but that is what you need to know about the basics of an electric cigarette.
